If you don’t have a pinterest account…you are missing out on other people’s creativity!  I love pinterest.  It’s basically an electronic bulletin board of anything you can find online.  It’s WONDERFUL.  Let me know if you need an invite and I’ll hook you up.

Anyway, a while back, I found a cute Valentine’s Day idea that inspired Graham’s Valentine’s Day treats for his school mates at Kid’s Count.  I used that idea to create these for all of his friends and a little extra for his teachers!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I am so thankful for all the love in my life: Benjamin, Graham, wonderful parents and sisters and a brother in-law and a niece and nephew as well as outstanding in-laws and sibling in-laws; other family members and so many friends.  I love you all too!

Let’s remember this feast for the man it’s named after – Saint Valentine – the patron of love, young people and happy marriages.

Until next time...

Riding a Big Boy Bike!

Riding a Big Boy Bike!
February 9, 2012

Graham received a beautiful blue bike (with training wheels) for Christmas (future post I promise!) from his Aunt Jeanne.  Jeanne’s children – Hunter & Camille – also got new bikes.  Hunter and Camille were professionals from the start…Graham was a little bit timid about riding his.  I’m not sure if he was scared or if his short legs prevented a full circle of the pedals, but regardless, when we returned to Baton Rouge post Christmas, he wanted nothing to do with it.  I kept the bike outside under the patio along with his tricycle but he never wanted to get on the bike…

[Side note:  Though my allergies are killing me, hasn’t the mild winter been extremely fun to participate in outdoor activities…minus the darn mosquitoes.  I hope our summer is just as mild…a girl can wish right?]

Graham and I were killing time outside Friday before going to Sammy’s (YUM) for dinner and all of a sudden he got off the tricycle and said “I’m going to ride my big boy bike mom.”  Just as matter of fact as he said it, he hopped his adorable little buttocks on that bike and the rest is history!

Look at me dad!

I love my new helmet!

Please get that camera out of my face so I can ride!

Taking the curve very carefully!

Isn't this smile the best?

You can find us outside almost every night riding down the street! Seriously, he doesn't want to get off the bike!

Until next time…
